Mangiamo Grand Rapids: Elevate Your Dining Experience in the Heart of Michigan

Fantastic service, wonderful food (almond crusted chicken for me) and the Grandioso old fashioned drink really hit the spot. We came for my daughter's birthday and had a great time.

We had an amazing dinner! The Wedge Salad and Truffle Cappuccino Soup were perfect starters. The scallops, tenderloin and truffled Parmesan potatoes were beyond delicious! Our server Bailey was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back.

Currently one of the best restaurants in the Grand Rapids area. Ingredients were fresh, seasoned well, and did not disappoint. The cocktails were very well done, and the lasagne bolognese was especially delicious. Highly recommended for your next special evening or random weekday elevated meal.

Our new favorite date night spot. The best experience we’ve had in Grand Rapids. They were so accommodating to a Birthday dinner that turned into a proposal. The waitress Taylor assisted with the ring and it was best service ever. Can’t wait to go back. Definitely doing a date night in the next couple weeks here.

The service, ambience, and over all vibes were so good!! Everything was very delicious. The truffle soup is to die for!! The breads are also amazing. My only small critiques are the lasagna needs a little more meat (other than that amazing) and the the linguine for the lobster thermador needs to be a little softer. Other than that, flavor wise, everything was bomb!!

We had dinner at Mangiamo’s on Thursday night. It was wonderful — the beef tenderloin (perfectly cooked), the scallops, and the salad were all amazing! Jerry, our server, was witty and excellent, and we took his suggestion regarding the truffle potatoes (yum!) and a fantastic slice of key lime tart. The atmosphere is jazzy, vintage, and contemporary all at once, and we will definitely be visiting again soon. It was on the expensive side, but we both felt the food, service, and ambiance were worth it.

Enjoyed our Easter brunch at Mangiamo! I believe they only do brunch on Easter and Mother’s Day and I would urge you to make a reservation if you find yourself without lunch plans on either day. Biscuits and gravy were great, quiche with truffles reds was incredible, and the portions were larger than you would expect from fine dining. Our server was great too! Can’t beat the ambiance inside the restaurant either.

It is such a rare find to find a restaurant that hits on all cylinders of vibe, service and food and Mangiamo for sure gets five stars in all categories. Not only is it a beautiful space, but every server is knowledgeable, friendly and exudes a high level of service. The food is phenomenal and worth every penny that you pay for it
